Millvale is a small community with a growing immigrant and refugee population.  Be Our Neighbor was created furring an emergency situation to secure housing for a recently settled family wanting to stay in the Millvale community.  By the end of 2023, we were connected with at least 52 individuals (27 children) from over 10 countries who moved to Millvale in the past 3 years.  We jumped in and just started helping.  

Creating a formal committee allows us to provide guidance to any new volunteers and opens up the opportunity for connecting with other organizations helping these populations.
